City of Toronto
I wish to explore how graphic design contributes to establishing the graphic identity of the city by creating visual personalities, connections, visual impressions and emotional experiences. I decided to demonstrate that by redesigning the city of Toronto, where I am living right now.
The totally redesigned city of Toronto will become a dynamic and diverse brand for the city. New primary forms(icons) which come from the city of Toronto will help people to understand the new identity of Toronto. Toronto is a city of dynamic and diversity.
New icons will represent the entire city. The new logo of Toronto will have bold typography and a set of
4 different icons lined up above the wordmark to represent the city's diversity. The crucial part is that the
city's logo changes every time it appears.
